I stumbled across a follow request today. I don't have my account locked. Any rando can follow me. Yet @stux decided I needed to be shielded from @dseresfsfs and her profile for reasons I don't understand. Over the weekend, I'd read toots by a woman being shadow-banned on my server. The woman was really upset, and I'm embarrassed to admit I stopped paying attention because she seemed to be ranting. If I wanted censorship I could have stayed at Musk's place. This is what the same space looks like today. The only "serious" construction was moving the shower drain from the center to the far wall and the vanity faucet from the wall to the sink. Everything else is cosmetic. Now that the contractors are done, I need to polish all the brass so it will all patina at the same rate instead of some tarnishing from contractor sweaty fingers. Ew. All of the metal is unlacquered brass, and the push-button light switches are magical. #HomeRenovation #Renovation

The GC signed off on the bathroom reno this morning. Except for the handles on the cupboards, this is what the bathroom looked like when we bought our home 15 years ago. It was going to be our very first project since we were going to turn it back into the closet it literally was. It is 4' x 10' including the shower. #HomeRenovation #HomeRemodel #NewBathroom

I was struggling with Audrey's quote this morning. My yard is my happy place. It's basically our family room if it's above 60°f. So, last night, watching the hail fall for what felt like forever was distressing, to say the least.

This morning, amongst the crushed plants, I found Mother Nature had picked the year's first strawberries. I guess I'll be back to it today.
