One of the reasons I went to work for #PBS was a deep commitment to teaching which is something I care deeply about.
I’m very disappointed in rescinding the already congressionally approved funding. We’ve already had to lay off folks and more will follow with possible stations closing. Thank you to everyone who contacted your congresspeople supporting PBS

When it comes to metric vs imperial unit, I never hear about how metric numbers aren’t highly composite. 12, 60, 360 are even “superior” highly composite number. They’re way more useful in “real world” uses because they can divide evenly in more ways.
That said, any imperial unit that isn’t a highly composite number is silly (looking at you 3 feet/yard, 1760 yards/miles, 16 oz/lb and almost all imperial fluid units)
Finally, I prefer baking in grams and milliliters
