So cool. If you zoom in on the upper right, you see a little crescent. That's the Martian moon Phobos.
Zoom in again and you'll see a star next to Phobos. That's Earth! That's home.
Seen from Mars by NASA's Curiosity rover.

Hi Mastodon folks, what do you use for performance profiling/analysis at the instruction level? VTune is painful and crashes. Do you use llvm-mca? I am tired of guessing my way through optimizations.
Please repost, I would really love to hear some opinions :)
@rrustema020 @notjustbikes @notjustbikes I’ve also traveled to the Hornbach in Sloterdijk…they had a specific thing I needed the same day.
A train from Utrecht, a bike rental at the station, dedicated bike paths all the way to the big box, and a bike rack to lock up inside the garage. Even out there, there’s bike infrastructure and a bus stop that’s not too far away with a bus every 30 minutes including on the weekend. Hard for a North American to imagine.
Animation quality is a difficult subject that I think we've not quite got to grips with yet as a community.
My latest blog post shares some of my own thoughts on the subject. My hope is it can kickstart some discussions... or at least new dance moves!
