Danish citizens have launched an online petition, signed by 200,000 people, to purchase California. The petition notes that purchasing the Golden State would provide Danes with more sunshine, dominance in the tech industry, limitless avocado toast, and easy access to Disneyland. In return, California would get the rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.

Can they buy Wisconsin, please? I'd take that offer! 😆

Thousands of Danes sign petition to buy California from U.S.

In response to President Donald Trump’s continued musing about the U.S. acquiring Greenland from Denmark, Danish citizens have launched their own effort to purchase America’s most econo…

@Heimdall I had no idea what race you are. I was just irritated by the idea that I didn't like the music because I was white. I didn't like the music because all I heard was a bunch of mumbling. That is precisely the same complaint that my parents had about the music I listened to in my youth. It isn't about race. It is about age.

@TonyStark @Heimdall The halftime show was dull and unintelligible.

My son-in-law is black and he told me last night that many of his friends expressed the same opinion.

As I said, not everything is about race.

One of the reasons we lost is because, rightly or wrongly, we are perceived as making everything about race. But sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and sometimes music just sucks.

Google is now officially a fascist tool, as its contemptible "Gulf of America" change shows -- and as removing progressive events from the calendar shows.

You MUST expect now that Google will gladly hand over your most personal information to the Trump regime or anyone the regime likes.

You never could trust Google, once it became an advertising company. You must now assume it is your likely enemy.

Brilliant!

That's interesting, but funny, too.

I have a Sigma 70-210 zoom that fell apart in my hands one day for no discernible reason other than that it was sloppily built. I don't regard Sigma lenses as particularly high quality and a 70-200 is not insanely powerful.

@Heimdall How many old black folks do you know or see interviewed?

Not everything, even in these evil times, is about race.

@Heimdall I hated the halftime show. But not because I'm white. I'm just old. The 16 YO loved it.

I'm pretty sure my parents did not like halftime shows with the Stones or the Who.

@watergirl @EricFielding @msmp @TonyStark I’m quite interested in Jamie Raskin and the class action lawsuit all Americans can sign on to. It would be fantastic if we could take musk for most of his billions and give it to the people he’s stealing data from. https://www.justice.gov/opcl/overview-privacy-act-1974-2020-edition/introduction#:~:text=The%20Privacy%20Act%20of%201974%2C%20Pub%20Law%20No.,information%20in%20the%20federal%20government.
