The piss poor biased political coverage by the #NewOrcTimes is being noticed by more and more people.

Remember folks, if you are ever lost in an urban environment, you can always safely make your way back home by knowing that moss always grows on the South East side of lampposts.
Local Gannett paper, the Columbus Dispatch, recently ran a series of features about the stories behind classic comics as part of a reset of the comics page. The reset dropped Doonesbury in favor of Dennis the Menace. I fully appreciate the need to support local journalism and the Dispatch does have somewhat reasonable local news coverage, but mucking with the comics like they did has me wavering on subscribing. Dropping Doonesbury is a sacrilege. Comics should be political.

This morning: I'm up to date on the client's database performance improvements. Today looked like it would be the last day of the season for a topless drive -- blue sky and high sixties. But I have a meeting w/ the client at 1400. Oh, well.
Client email: Gotta cancel today's meeting.
Reply: DB changes look good. Was going to go for a last drive before winter in the Miata I bought a few months ago, but I had a meeting scheduled for this afternoon...
