The Open Source Project DeFlock Is Mapping License Plate Surveillance Cameras All Over the World
On his drive to move from Washington state to Huntsville, Alabama, Will Freeman began noticing lots of cameras.
I decided to try out Rust this weekend with a somewhat basic project. I enjoyed the security benefits Rust has to offer. Even if they were a little rough at certain points.
I'm always open to peer review / comments. Feel free to point out anything that's not exactly Rust-like!

Another one down for #HackersRift. This was a pretty straight forward one.
I recently had to deal with multiple encodings from a PCAP. This led me to a tool I've used in the past called CyberChef.
This is an online tool that accepts an input that you can manipulate with different encoders and encryption. You'll be given an output that you can view on the same page or download.
Its an awesome tool that can be used to discover which encoders / encryption are used fairly quickly. That way you can create a script/program in your favorite language afterwards.
REMINDER: It is a third party tool. Don't put any real world Person Identifiable Info on there.

The last task had me on the ropes for a while. Thankfully, the #htb Discord community was helpful enough to give me a nudge in the right direction.
