Diese Entscheidung wurde in der EU mit Bedauern, aber auch Erleichterung aufgenommen, weil Großbritannien in der Vergangenheit in der EU oft die Rolle übernommen hatte, die Christian Lindner in der letzten Bundesregierung hatte.
Die Bevölkerung von Großbritannien wurde vom Brexit in einer groß angelegten Desinformationskampagne "überzeugt", bei der einige britische Milliardäre und verdeckte ausländische EInflüsse mit ungeklärten Zielen kooperierten. Das Land befindet sich seitdem in einem Lernprozeß, in dem es entdeckt, welche Benefits ein Verbleiben in der EU gehabt hätte.
Es dient auch als Warnsignal für EU Regierungen auf dem Festland, die ähnliche Überlegungen perkolieren – Schengen einschränken, Zahlungen verzögern oder generell die europäische EInheit gefährden.
