@siracusa I thought you’d find this detail funny. It appears the AirPods team is living on an alternate timeline.

@siracusa please please can you get an Apple Vision Pro? After hearing you on the most recent @atpfm episode, I dearly want to hear you speak about your experiences on ATP as this platform develops. What can we do?

Shall we do a gofundme campaign or an atp membership drive? It’s darn near ATP malpractice that you don’t have one 😂 @caseyliss @marcoarment

@imyke @upgrade

Would love to hear what you think as a fun thought experiment. Here are the links for the iPhone and Lisa sales:

In anticipation of the #apple Vision Pro I re-listened to @imyke on Cortex and agree with his views on @upgrade that whether you think it’ll be a success or a flop it is a significant moment in apple history. That got me thinking of something ridiculous..

Is it worth buying an Apple Vision Pro as an “investment”? Sealed in box for 15 years and then eBay it?… probably not but for fun here’s some context:

- Apple I computer sold for $905k in 2014
- Apple iPhone original sold for $190k in 2023

can’t believe my dishwasher is WiFi-enabled and it’s not even going to send me a wrapped email telling me how many dishes I washed in 2023, what even is the point?

Looks like TestFlight's S3 bucket, covering the period before and up to when Apple acquired the company, was indexed and scraped, and has leaked to archive.org.

This likely contains every unencrypted binary submitted between 2012 and 2015 to the service — ‘terabytes of data’. Dated February 2015. “…and includes several unreleased Angry Birds games.”

Network engineers hate this one simple trick

"so ahh- ha ha-- yeah. I know I have a bit of a bad reputation among you insect-folk but um... I kinda need a little help with pollination now? So. If some of you bees, or flies... or even ants could just stop by, help out..."

Got off my call with Reddit just now about the API. Bad news unless I come up with 20 million dollars (not joking). Appreciate boosts. https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/13ws4w3/had_a_call_with_reddit_to_discuss_pricing_bad/
📣 Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is.

Hey all, I'll cut to the chase: 50 million requests costs $12,000, a figure far more than I ever could have imagined. Apollo made 7 billion...
