@kevinrothrock it depends on how you use it. If it’s as a daily research/search assistant then it may be worth it. I appreciate the better models - they tend to write more concisely and summarize better (you can select Claude sonnet 3.5, for example).
Additionally, with Pro you can constrain the search space for example to social media or academic sources only. Comes in handy to reduce certain types of noise.
@siracusa please please can you get an Apple Vision Pro? After hearing you on the most recent @atpfm episode, I dearly want to hear you speak about your experiences on ATP as this platform develops. What can we do?
Shall we do a gofundme campaign or an atp membership drive? It’s darn near ATP malpractice that you don’t have one 😂 @caseyliss @marcoarment
@christianselig given your terrible experience with Reddit api changes, are you worried at all about building again on another company’s api?
Interested in how you think about this given the trauma.
Would love to hear what you think as a fun thought experiment. Here are the links for the iPhone and Lisa sales:

In anticipation of the #apple Vision Pro I re-listened to @imyke on Cortex and agree with his views on @upgrade that whether you think it’ll be a success or a flop it is a significant moment in apple history. That got me thinking of something ridiculous..
Is it worth buying an Apple Vision Pro as an “investment”? Sealed in box for 15 years and then eBay it?… probably not but for fun here’s some context:
- Apple I computer sold for $905k in 2014
- Apple iPhone original sold for $190k in 2023
