Went to the Falkirk Wheel today, which is a cool thing in and of itself. As a bonus, there were swallows and house martins nesting underneath the gondolas, meaning the nests go round and round with the wheel.

Saw house martins today, I think. It was hard to tell as they were quite far away. Either way, they were definitely the first hirundine spot of the year. Also a fledgling thrush.
