A typical nerdy human with an odd brain that drinks from a firehose.

Have a guitar named Marie Mau Mau that I practice & play daily. Fan of #Phish, #GratefulDead, and #Goose.

Interested in niche hacking topics, ink and watercolor art, sci-fi novels from 1950-1980, geek boardgames, playing card games, and jam band stuff (especially from a guitarist perspective).

I work as a remote senior-level pentester and red/purple teamer.

AI and fascism is ruining everything.

#SmallWeb forward!

When a person makes art, it's rarely perfect on the first try. If it is, then that's the result of either blind luck or many, many years of experience.

An artwork is the result of a period of struggle, thought, and (most importantly) mistakes. All of that comes with complex emotions that can mess with the process, like angrily drawing a sharp line down the middle, only to discover that changes the piece and rolling with it.

This, I think, is the "soul" of art that AI misses.

this ai bubble is going to burst any minute now, and we all know what that means: cheap data centre rack space in huge quantities.

can we use server racks to grow salad instead of swindle? i set out to find out: https://sa.lj.am/rack-mount-hydroponics/

Folks are supposed to grow out of wanting a wooden wing chun dummy in their house, right?

I did study #kungfu in my 20s, but that was also 20 years ago, lol.

Wing chun dummy, #retro #arcade machine, hippie guitar music setup, maker space, and hacking space... with #nerd and #phish and grateful dead posters and art on the walls.

Making my dream office happen. Maybe without the wooden dummy.

Making up with my guitar teacher, I read situations wrong, too.

My weird brain is brilliant at so much but for some of the most basic things it struggles.

Some moments are good to remind you that you don't fit well into the world with everyone else and that's just how it is.

Cringe and frustrating. But moved forward and put it behind me.

That awkward moment when the 2nd #guitar teacher I chose is now also not professional and seems I'm an afterthought if a thought at all.

Sucks cause I'm a kind and generous person. It's like it feels like I kicked their dog and I'm the only one that doesn't know it. I know I didn't read things wrong, it's on their end.

If anyone is curious, it is Davvy from TobyDavvy Youtube channel. I paid for a 4 lesson pack in advance, had one lesson, and now it seems impossible to get a response again.

You hear something shatter!

Hi! I'm a bot posting Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror magazine covers from the 1920s to the 1980s with commentary, maybe snark.
