@choosy I just installed on a macOS 15.7 and it didn’t happen. My other machine that asked for iCloud Drive access is macOS 26.
Not a big deal, I just denied the access.
@choosy I installed v2.5 and while the choosy window was up it prompted me for iCloud Drive access. I don’t have any browser installed or linked to iCloud Drive.
I do on my desktop and home folder of symlinks to other iCloud files like txt and jpg etc…
@choosy why does 2.5 want permission to access iCloud Drive?
Also seems like it does not auto update?
On iPhone or iPad:
In Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri, scroll down to “Apps” at the bottom. On the Apps screen (which should have one of those convenient “jump to here” A–Z indexes on the right, but doesn’t) scroll down to Messages.
Or, in Settings, scroll to the very bottom and tap "Apps” at the bottom of the main sidebar. On that Apps screen (which *does* offer the helpful A–Z index), tap Messages, then tap “Apple Intelligence & Siri”.
In the next screen, turn off “Show in App”.
I've been really enjoying Zuckerberg's interviews lately, and this one with @alexheath is no exception.
