A smarter default browser for macOS
Another little bug fix release to fix a prompt colour scheme issue on Sequoia: https://choosy.app/releases/2.5.2
Choosy 2.5.1 is here: a little bug fix release for some things I missed in 2.5, mostly fixing issues with the new prompt when the macOS "keyboard navigation" setting is enabled.
Choosy 2.5 is out now! Lots of improvements to the browser prompt in this release, including light and dark modes and the option for a Liquid Glass background.
The Tahoe update is taking a little longer than I would have liked, but it's coming along nicely.
I don't love all the uses of Liquid Glass in the new Apple OSes, but I think it's working out pretty well as one of the background options for Choosy's updated browser prompt.
Choosy 2.4.2 is out now: another little bug fix release, most notably restoring the ability to open links in the background.
Gandi have resolved the issue. Key delivery times should be back to normal 🎉
The issue turned out to be Gandi’s name servers not responding to DNS requests from AWS’s `us-west-2` region. This is still ongoing, but Gandi and AWS are working on it.
In the meantime, I’ve improved my Stripe integration so that keys are mostly being delivered within a few minutes even when the initial payment notification fails.
Oops! The change in 2.4 to handle inconsistent icon sizes had a bug that resulted in icons rendering at the wrong size on retina displays.

Choosy 2.4 is out now! You can now use Choosy in Shortcuts, and rules that use the macOS sharing menu now use the new-style sharing sheet.
