Steve LieberBack when I was getting started in #comics, I asked an established pro for advice. He told me he didn’t give advice or crits anymore because over the years, everything he knew about the biz & craft was either irrelevant or would make an artist less marketable.
Anyone who knows me knows I didn’t take that to heart. But I got it then and I still know what he meant. Things change so quickly in comics and illustration. Basic principles stay relevant, but it’s tough to stay on top of the specifics.
It’s the day after Thanksgiving, time to take down the Halloween decorations.

redfrogProtip: you don’t need to be an artist or a writer to make comics. Just leave a stack of blank paper in a neglected corner and finished pages will accumulate like tartar on teeth.
