#HeroesCon commissions end Friday.
I would love to be at #Balticon right now. Sadly, once the kid got into middle and high school going on that trip for Memorial day weekend got pretty difficult. It's always a stretch considering that we usually go to #Heroescon which is 2 or 3 weeks later.
Maybe I will get back in a few years after the kid has graduated high school. I've had a fun time every time I've been.
@ScottEdelman I straight up forgot that Don worked on those Wasteland comics. For a long time I knew Del Close only as the writer of this comic. He goes to #Heroescon pretty consistently so I should bring some of those this year.
I had an absolute brain fart one year and brought Normalman #1. Wrong superhero parody!
Today is the day when #Heroescon 2026 passes go on sale. If you plan on attending all three days and $75 is not a debilitating sum for you, then the VIP passes are totally worth it. You get a shirt, some tchoctchkes, prints and such but the real benefit is getting on the show floor an hour earlier than the non-VIP passholders each day. It's a great time for seeing people who will have long lines later!
The frustrating bit about this is that I decided to get my act together and book early since hotel reservations are the easiest and cheapest bit of travel to cancel. There is no downside to booking on the possibility and cancelling on the reality.
I wanted to book right after #heroescon ended this year, but the rooms weren't even bookable until September and then the price was weird for two months. That will teach me to be organized and proactive.
