Driving home over the weekend, we stopped to charge at a new place near Bakersfield. “No Amenities” was noted on the map. No amenities indeed, just a rack of #Superchargers on a gravel lot a few hundred feet from the interstate. There was some random dude sitting at a fire he’d started.

The chargers were the new Level 3 ones, super super fast, at their fastest they can hit 250 kW/hr. I was amused by the juxtaposition between humanity’s oldest #technology and some of their newest.
