@vonnieda whom were you talking to here, dare I ask...? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just cannot see any thread history. lol.
@azonenberg It's hard enough finding _one_ engineer who will stay committed to working with me. (It is for this reason that I wrote a license incentivizing collaboration & communication.)
@lritter as someone in his late twenties, I feel a bit concerned by this... most of them sound tolerable, but the bladder one is freaking me out. Isn't that painful and distracting? I hope you're okay.
Without saying “endemic” or “but it’s mild now” explain how this is “post-Covid” or in any way acceptable.
@mattgriffin: well.... he predicted a toss-up in 2024, which is better than Allan Lichtman's prediction. But why hate on him all of a sudden? Did he say something recently?
@whydoyouseekme: Really? When a Trump supporter commits an act of terror and has a list of other Democrats he wants to harm, how is that the Democrats' fault? Are Republicans devoid of any personal responsibility and agency? Would you say the same if the party affiliations were swapped?
@geekymalcolm: wait.... what? Can you elaborate? I happen to own a Pixel 6a, but it's running GrapheneOS. Is that what you did, or did you manage to install a specific Linux distro on it?
When I sporadically rant about how I was lied to in school and I've spent much of my adulthood un-learning what I was taught, this is what I'm talking about. Eli Whitney inventing the cotton gin was one of those facts that was REALLY hammered in school textbooks, but they absolutely did NOT teach all the elements of it.

@bluerootsradio: My advice: watch C-SPAN. They featured a guy from Indivisible this morning on Washington Journal. They have the best coverage of (US) political news out there.

@LLMs: Hmmm I have a lot of thoughts on this one. I myself wrote an article about Why I Hate StackOverflow; you can read it here: https://themathjester.com/blog/StackOverflow.html

I have found the _culture_ of StackOverflow to be uniquely bad in comparison to other programming forums. I try to give many examples, but perhaps this article does a better job of explaining _why_ rather than merely _how_.

Why I Hate Stack Overflow

a rant against Stack Overflow, complete with numerous examples.
