My metamorphosis to full housecat is complete as I open the window to hiss at the ratty rat who keeps brazenly grazing on the berries and whatnot. It scrambles away at the hissing and then returns mere moments later.

(The bird feeder was removed due to appearance of the ratty rat.)

It’s kind of a drag to spend five days in isolation after really short appointments, but I’d rather start in isolation and maybe end it sooner if conditions were favourable (everyone masked in the facility, good air quality, etc.) than have to scramble into isolation.
