Cross-platform Swift code running in the browser thanks to WebAssembly: https://www.pointfree.co/episodes/ep291-cross-platform-swift-webassembly. Great tutorial that may help someone interested in bringing their Swift business logic to the Web.

Episode #291: Cross-Platform Swift: WebAssembly

We are going to take a Swift feature into the browser. We will set up a WebAssembly application from scratch, show how to run and debug it, and even set up some basic UI. And then we will integrate our existing model into it, all powered by the magic of Swift’s Observation framework.

✨New blog post!

I recently played around with creating a custom SF symbol and couldn't find a good easy to read resource on how to get started.

So I decided to write a new article on the topic based on my experience.

Create Custom SF Symbols in Sketch | Danijela's blog

Symbols (or icons) are an essential part of any app. Luckily, when developing for Apple platforms, we have the amazing collection of SF symbols at our disposal. The day has come when my wife needs me to write an iOS app for her. I've been preparing my whole life for this. I got this.

Installed Swift on my RaspberryPi server. Seems to work, even though it’s still v5.

#raspberrypi #swift #apple

How’s everything going with macOS sequoia so far?

I would like to read your thoughts 🙌🏻

I have to say it: after spending part of my day using Xcode 16, I love it!
Ghost warnings seems to be gone. Updating Swift Packages is reliable. And I don't have to reboot it more than Xcode 15 when I work.

Good job Xcode team!

In the midst of all of Apple’s AI efforts I’m really hoping that they integrate vector database functionality into #swiftdata or #coredata for #wwdc24.
@twostraws @mikaelacaron @swiftovercoffee Swift gave me a new lease on life. I had just been made redundant, was 63 yrs old so what was I going to do with my life? Swift came to the rescue and then 5 years later SwiftUI gave it a boost. I am forever greatful for this and for the community as a whole.
