Exploring running my own mastodon instance for a while. I’ll keep this one active as well for a bit, see if this works out well or not. Find me at @cdrum as well!
@MonaApp Some of the hashtags I follow are a little busy and I’d like to toggle them on and off within the Home feed without having to stop following them. Possible? 🙏
@MonaApp maybe I’m being obtuse (or still don’t fully understand #Mastodon 😂) but is there a way to not include the hashtags I follow in my Home feed? 🤔

Bye bye, nytimes.

When the only thing that continues to work on you ad-filled web site is the captcha, I’m not interested in supporting your journalism any more.

Ironically, another pet peeve of mine was the “you can sign up online, but you have to call and talk to a human to cancel”.

But with apparently nothing but your main page (and your ads - surprise surprise) working, that was actually good for once.

3/ Being in Singapore, I’d like Grab (or some other home grown operation) to offer this kind of functionality for parents. Preferably with the relevant local licenses to enable Paynow/QR payments for children with smartphones (as visa/MC aren’t accepted everywhere)… #revolut #fintech #Singapore #grab #grabpay #grabfin
2/ The use case for the child being able to send funds to a parent is if the child forgot his/her Revolut card at home, or Visa is not supported as a payment option at a merchant and the parent needs to pay on behalf of the child. #revolut #fintech
1/ Quite disappointed with Revolut’s “<18” (their kids/teens offering) parental controls where the co-parent cannot withdraw funds from the child’s account. Only the primary parent. Not really supporting families where both parents want to be actively involved in their child’s financial literacy! Customer support said this is not supported. 🤷‍♂️ another nice feature that is not supported is for the child to be able to send funds to a parent. #revolut #fintech
