Blast off into Operius DX, a high-speed arcade shooter where you navigate twisting polygonal tunnels, battle waves of enemies, and confront formidable bosses in an endless amount of procedurally-generated levels. How far can you get?

I have a new blog post out on Doom Eternal. You know, Doom Eternal. That thing everyone played back when that thing happened where everyone had to stay indoors for ages and pretend like that wasn't something they did anyway. It was called "Youtuber's Guide To Writing Easy Unfunny Jokes."

Anyway, the post is on my site. Here's the link:

Er, it's been a while. I basically stopped using social media and don't really regret it.

But I wanted to come back to post an announcement that I have a site now, and that site has a blog. I've had a blog on tumblr for a good while, but I finally got around to putting the blog on my own database now, and I'm honestly thrilled. I may or may not remember to post updates here from now on, whenever I make a new post there.

Look at this link! So cool!!!!

We're at Gamescom! Well, at least kind of.

If you stop by the Opera GX booth, you'll find an arcade machine loaded with a game we developed exclusively for this event. You might even earn some small prizes if you manage to get far enough!

A/B testing, aka automatic remote gaslighting at scale
Man, it'd be nice to use social media if I didn't completely hate the fundamental concept behind all of the modern platforms.

hello guys

a while ago the cool dudes over at opera asked me to make a cute lil minigame for them

it's built into opera gx now!!! you can download the browser, and play it from the new tab page (by clicking game strip at below)

(also yes i stole the trailer video from them)

Looking for a change of pace?

Operius DX will introduce a brand new mode where all you need to do is to rely on your reflexes to avoid obstacles. There are no enemies to shoot in this one!

Warning: It gets pretty intense!

Fuck Nvidia and fuck their drivers. Seriously, anytime a graphics API has a pothole moment and something is unbound, the drivers just vomit up a nullptr reference exception and a stack trace from hell. This shit is impossible to debug.

Here's a short look at what I've been working on lately.

It's Radium, a custom game engine my man Cato and I have been working on hard for the last few months. This specifically is the IDE for it.

I probably didn't have to put in this much effort into it, considering it's going to be mostly an internal tool but screw it lol
