Yes. Very much so. That's the tragedy of the whole thing, everything was spelled out beforehand, but way too many people either ignored it or just flat out refused to believe that it was true. Leopards and all that.
On NOAA we'll have to see if the current administration registered AccuWeather pointing out that their entire system was based on NOAA data, so they can't just "replace" them. Then again, hurricane warnings would mention "climate", so likely suppressed anyway. /s

Not sure if it was intentional, but now have the voice and image of Prishe from FFXIV's Echoes of Vana'diel stuck in my head*, coupled with the urge to run outside of the third ring (given my hotel that would be a difficult undertaking...). Somewhat fitting though.
