This guy made the best counterfeit US cash the Secret Service had seen in 25 years. The article has a nice short documentary interviewing him. Yes, he shares some of his methods.

Pete Buttigieg and Robert Reich have highlighted our plan to
✅ defeat Citizens United:

“Interesting things are happening across the country…
Montana is trying to address this through attention to what a corporation can and can’t do,
because that’s actually decided at the state level.

So instead of working it at the ‘speech’ side of the equation,
💥they’re working at the
‘what is a corporation’ side of the equation.” --Secretary #Buttigieg

And Former Labor Secretary Robert #Reich highlighted our plan as the path to beating Citizens United,
and a bipartisan coalition of state party leaders here are lending their efforts to the cause,
including Former Senator Jon #Tester and Former Governor Marc #Racicot.

⭐️. But the most important part is that 74% of surveyed voters
— regardless of party affiliation
— support our plan to get corporate money out of our elections.

👉 We’ve launched a ballot initiative to get undue corporate influence out of our politics and end dark money loopholes for good.

👉 Once we win here in Montana, we will have a legal precedent for all 49 other states. -- Yours could be next!

🔥We’re taking our elections back from the oligarchs, once and for all.

Thank you for supporting The Montana Plan today!

One-way mirrors and smart mirrors, which can have embedded cameras, are sometimes detectable by touching your finger to them, as most normal mirrors reflect from the back of the glass (there will be a gap btw your finger and its reflection). IIRC, a smart or one-way mirror needs to reflect from the front (no gap). Note you can have false alarms here.

Okay, there are ways to detect cameras from a practicality standpoint: most are wifi-connected and/or emit infrared as an extra signal, so you can find them that way. With meticulous use of a flashlight, you can sometimes see a hidden lens.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@Viss/115590880988013530

There is no such thing as a device that can "find" cameras or GPS sensors because they're passive: they don't emit anything (Air Tags etc do, so they can be detected, but they're also ~responsibly engineered that way to prevent spying).

I especially like the mood-ring-looking doodad in the middle, which clearly does nothing.

Here is yet another example of the maga-klan's goal of suppressing free speech and freedom of exercise of religion (except for speech and religion that conforms to maga-land.)

New US State Department memo reflects their backwards understanding of freedom of speech (only the government cannot censor speech):

"If you uncover evidence an applicant was responsible for, or complicit in, censorship or attempted censorship of protected expression in the United States, you should pursue a finding that the applicant is ineligible" for a visa.

I had a new experience today at dinner. The guy two tables down, who had a quiet gentle voice, was gesticulating so wildly that it shook the bench we were both seated on. While I appreciated the softness of his speech, his hands and arms were basically yelling.
An investor has calculated a poverty line of $137k/y "for a family of four to afford housing, health care, child care and other necessities", which is four times the current line. While I think location matters here, this national figure is still a good reminder of American wealth inequality.

An investor called $140,000 the new poverty line. Experts disagreed but said he had a point.

Michael Green’s tally of the costs of raising a family in the U.S. today is going viral, even if some economists scoff at his math.
