@bagder and you can take the rest of the day of to 'test the deployment' right? right?

#retrospectives felt like a chore. It didn't improve our #software #agile process. We've redone it completely and now focus on how we feel (#genz engineering  ), less so on the _things_ - It's been great! I've written about our process on #substack and would very much like #feedback !

Reflecting on Retrospectives

Retrospectives became a chore, not a joy. We've changed our habits. Felt great.

Reflective Software Engineering

I've migrated to substack and after reading @kentbeck's #TidyFirst I reflected on how to better incorporate #TDD practices in #DataEngineering, which I've had difficulties with thus far.

I've written about those reflections; feedback is much-appreciated https://cabang.substack.com/p/test-driven-data-engineering

I am very self-conscious about blogging, and don't really share it... but people don't know me IRL on the #fediverse so maybe I'm safe

Test-driven data engineering

A perspective on how to build data integrations and clients in a TDD fashion

Why doesn’t Elon charge people who don’t use Twitter, it’s a faster-growing market segment.
Jesus, take the gun away from him already.

A year ago today the Missing The Point account was started on Mastodon by a starry-eyed newbie with nothing but big dreams to make people laugh and the best posts AI could generate. Throughout the day this thread will share the top ten most-favorited posts of the year, along with some behind-the-scenes commentary.

In honor of Missing The Point’s one-year Mastodon anniversary, you are hereby granted a day off work tomorrow, simply show this post to your boss. Enjoy the three-day weekend.

@deadlydog they are customizable, you just have to catch and rethrow them ;) but sure - if you have a list that can unexceptionable have more elements, and you use Single, then you are writing poor code, and need to handle those cases properly according to business rules and domain logic. From a #domaindrivendesign perspective that seems obvious
