After losing it with Sentry after it failing to run for more than 24h on my home server, I have now deployed my own error tracking service, built with Ruby on Rails, on my homelab and it's recieving production errors, complete with symbolication from the dSYM files off iOS 🎉
Need lots of styling and more things, but for now I at least have something I hopefully won't have to restart every day 🙌
It’s not amazing, but now Manta runs on the Apple TV as well! Still gotta submit it for the external tester review, but shouldn’t be too far off joining the TestFlight beta 📺
I'm building a native #iOS video player for #jellyfin called Manta TV! 📺
It's still a bit early, but it does enough useful things to start getting feedback I think!
It uses VLC under-the-hood to direct play basically anything you throw at it, and while it's only for iOS right now the plan is to add support for iPadOS and tvOS soon-ish!

Got a new app waiting for review before getting a TestFlight link, pretty exciting! 🪼
Manet for Mac is coming along nicely! It'll require Manet+ so need to figure out a good place to present it so users who don't want that can leave the app without having gone through too much trouble. Also need to figure out copy, the hardest part of all 😅
So I got this error when trying to subscribe through my TestFlight app, if I click the "Change Store" button it just fails. Maybe TestFlight purchases can't be tested outside the US? Sounds crazy though… #StoreKit #iosdev #switui
