It's that time of year when I open my weather app every day hoping to see a high below 90 in the future. Fall is the season of disappointment in Texas.
Texas has 4 seasons – summer summer-er, summer-est and fall. It's currently summer-er, but normally it would be summer-est by now. Other half noted today that we seem to be missing out on summer-est this year. It's been under 100F out. There has been rain. Maybe we'll escape the heat hell for once. Looked at the weather just now and it's meant to hit 103 this weekend. He clearly jinxed it.
State of the web: if you search for "annal", the top image results are mostly butt-related.
I'm pretty sure Prime Video has straight up removed the continue watching section from the Android app. Whoever made that design choice needs to go straight to jail.
So we got a motion activated water fountain and the kittens are convinced it's actual magic. All of them have put their feet in it. Repeatedly.
When British Airways' site loads, it first shows a log in button that updates to log out when it gets its shit together. Obviously this always happens after I click the log in button since I want to log in which, of course, logs me out. The internet was a mistake and I hate it here.
Gandalf is cuddling with Tilly the kitten and I am dying of happiness. Way to be the bestest boy, Gandalf. 🥰
@1password It looks like searching the extension isn't working in the latest nightly on Win 10 in Firefox specifically when you have a blank new tab open. Not sure if it's specific to that set of browser/OS or not, but just FYI. No results even if an item exists that matches. You will get results if you switch to another tab with an actual website open.
We're cooked, y'all. No, really, if it's this hot in May I can only assume that human flesh won't survive outside come July. Promise me one of y'all will look after my cats after my face melts. For the Europeans and Canucks, I'll save you the Google: the high on Wednesday is 41.6° C.
