“Heat pumps are just air conditioners that go in both directions”

Statements like that probably paint an inaccurate picture of what modern monobloc enhanced vapor-injection (EVI) heat pumps with variable-speed compressors are capable of particularly in regard to efficient heating in cold climates.

Owners of such heat pumps, particularly ones which reduce or eliminate defrost cycles, frequently report desired temperatures being maintained in extreme cold temperatures with no additional heat.

Tech companies defeat bill as AI drains local water supplies https://www.theolympus.net/13531/

Washington House Bill 2515, which aimed to make data centers pay for their own grid infrastructure and use clean energy, failed in March 2026. @BasicAppleGuy I wonder why they didn't go for more translucency, like Liquid Glass? 😂
@stroughtonsmith I just wonder if all these potential folks will want to use macOS. (I have no clue).
@havn @atpfm @marcoarment I kept having exactly the same thoughts.
@marcoarment Enjoyed your @atpfm segment on your Garmin trial. I wish Apple would figure out how to get more battery life across the line and do a model with more buttons. Once one gets used to way more battery life it's hard to go back and, once the Garmin button nav/structure is learned (to your point about muscle memory), it actually feels clunky to do a lot of the touchscreen stuff, especially mid workout outside or at the gym. There is **SO** much room for AW model growth. Frustrating.
@BasicAppleGuy Was it not ***BUILT for Apple Intelligence***™️
@feed Was Elon in it? Then it's ok
