@liztai I have a “Radom note” button on my Daily page. When I want to relax (or procrastinate!), I hit that button and see what comes up. I either dive into more research or organize my existing research further.

@AustinB this view is looking north on Gold Street, from just south of Beekman. Beekman goes off to the right between the printers and the sandwich building. 82 Beekman was closer to Cliff Street.

@KommaChameleon this is mostly how I use #obsidian. My only addition is that I have a daily note with a Random Note button - I use that to surface old notes (imported mainly) to work on.

@ColinTheMathmo If your primary need is keeping a set of files synced between multiple computers, Syncthing does a good job, while avoiding the reliance on a trusted third party. If your primary need is off-site file hosting, the solution will likely be different. As i don't normally use cloud storage, i am afraid i can't help with that much.
