Senior Manager, Software Development @ Sonos 🔊 My thoughts are my own, etc
@caseyliss I had to make the pilgrimage while in NY and it did NOT disappoint 🙏🍕
@atpfm @caseyliss to pile on more tips for Vision Pro volume control, you can also toggle a setting to make the digital crown change the volume by default in visionOS Settings
@christianselig nice! Resuming a partially watched video looks to be completely fixed for me
BREAKING: Apple apologizes for "missing the mark" when they discontinued their line of Wi-Fi wireless routers, admitting "boy, we should never have stopped making AirPort products.”
@caseylisscom this is so great to hear ❤️ After almost five years working at Sonos I’m so happy to see us still making things right wherever we can.
Been a long time listener, I hope you keep enjoying your Sonos, Casey!
Looking for cool 3D models to mess around with in Vision Pro? Apple’s own AR models on their website all work!
@christianselig this looks so great Christian! So excited to try this tomorrow. You made an app for the streaming service I use the most by far, and it looks incredibly slick!
I wrote a blog post with an overview all about Juno, its features, and how it works if you're curious! https://christianselig.com/2024/02/introducing-juno/
Introducing Juno for Apple Vision Pro

YouTube is probably one of the parts of the internet I consume the most, so I was more than a little sad when YouTube announced that they don’t have plans to build a visionOS app, and disabled the option to load the iPad app. This leaves you with Safari, and the website is okay, but definitely doesn’t feel like a visionOS app. Couple that with visionOS not having the option to add websites to your Home Screen, and YouTube isn’t that convenient on visionOS by default.

@upgrade something fun I noticed as we ramp-up to Vision Pro:

How awesome is it that almost 23 years later Apple is still using the same design for its chargers, talk about great designs being long-lasting. Here’s the iPod FireWire charger that shipped with the original iPod, and the charger shipping with Vision Pro

(also fun to spot a wild @jsnell in the original iPod keynote 😉)

@jsnell @imyke to further add on to Apple confirming they’re not making a 27” iMac, using the web archive you can see they changed the text used in the banner of the Mac page on their website to remove 24” and just be “iMac”
