@mark The issue I have with Tesla (and some other car companies) is that I stubbornly refuse to believe that a company that fails to do proper QC on … well… anything… somehow magically does so on the systems protecting my life in the event of an accident. Do I trust them to have a “Team A” that does a good job on connecting airbags, brakes, steering etc. and a “Team Drunk” that finishes the rest? I don’t wanna be the one to find out the hard way! 🫣
@snazzyq Hi! As the person who got me into Homebrew, I wonder if you could help me solve a mystery: I am using Intego antivirus and it flags Boost 1.85 as being infected with malware when trying to upgrade. I tried searching the web, and while there is a short discussion on GitHub (https://github.com/orgs/Homebrew/discussions/5318), nobody answers the main question: Is the file *really* infected? I can imagine not many people use antivirus on a Mac, so this could become a problem if it actually was malware….
@gruber The predictions from 2001 are uncanny. Tablets? Check. Vertical video? Check. People not interacting in person and glued to their gadgets? Check. Artificial intelligence hallucinating itself into utter insanity…..?
