@fedora I still don’t understand how is this app not baked directly into gnome. The default one doesn’t include the crucial functionality. This is THE app you install on a fresh gnome installation.

@itsfoss I am suprised you haven’t included kitty on the list. Sure, it cannot compete wit ghostty in speed but its multi pane options just kill the need of using tmux locally. Good beginner list though. Keep up the good work.

@nixCraft sudo chmod 777 recursive on /. I dont even want to type the command correctly. Rebooting caused Ubuntu at that time not being able to boot anymore.

@nixCraft have you checked the hidden file name .instructions.txt. Its content should be \r, which explains things!
