@denis I played Diablo III all the way through the regular campaign. I had so much health regen (especially while shooting, which I could do more or less continuously) that it was basically impossible to kill me until post-campaign.

stop being stubborn and increase your computer's default font size. magnify that web page you're reading a bit

maybe try a different display font, most things default to sans fonts these days but I personally find serifs much easier to read, especially at, ahem, bigger font sizes

also, if light mode hurts your eyes, there's a significant chance the problem is that you bought a new monitor that gets 10x brighter than your old monitor and you turned it up to 100% brightness out of habit

My favorite light-novel series at this moment is “RVing Into Exile with My Beloved Cat: This Villainess Is Trippin'!”.

It starts with the standard otome-villainess setup in a vaguely-European fantasy-adventure world, then drives away from that setup at 40 kph. Literally. In an RV.

It's very chill and sweet and lots of fun. First two volumes are on Hoopla:

@davedelong CoMaps is good, but I find its transit support wanting since it doesn't include Muni in routing or show next-bus predictions. But it does work when nothing else does (because offline support) and it doesn't have ads.

Failing the first means they'd rather have unlimited money to blow on TV adverts and will be beholden to big-money donors.

Failing the second means they overlooked a really obvious platform to place their message. Or are bad at paperwork.

Failing the third usually means they think simply filing candidate papers is enough. For the more credible ones, it means they have opinions (or their own profile) to promote, but no actual plans to use the office they're running for.

Things I'm looking for when reading the voter information guide:

- Did the candidate accept the contribution limits to qualify to submit a candidate statement?
- Did the candidate actually submit a candidate statement?
- Does the candidate's statement reflect that they understand the job they're running for and the powers that will be available to them, and have intentions for how they will use those powers?

I read “The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent: The Other Saint” the other day. A couple chapters of the manga were included in season 1 of the anime, but the rest went unused.

Which is a shame, because I feel like season 2 would have been much better if they had waited a year and adapted most of the rest of “The Other Saint” instead of dicking around in a mine for half a dozen episodes.
