They don't offer as many features, but they are still quite good. And no ads.
Peter Hosey@davedelong CoMaps is good, but I find its transit support wanting since it doesn't include Muni in routing or show next-bus predictions. But it does work when nothing else does (because offline support) and it doesn't have ads.
Pierre@davedelong something I haven't read much about is how this is (to me) a desperate Hail Mary to finally have good business locations and data in Apple Maps. When it comes to business location, info, and opening times Google Maps is far superior, because people actually can and go edit their Google Business information. It can even be crowd sourced. I despise and dislike the idea of those ads but I think this is them surrendering in the hopes of motivating better data? 🤷
