I just graduated with my Bachelors in Software Engineering!

I'll be busy with family stuff, but I will continue working on the procedural map generator and the BrickBattle game that uses it.

I'm done with the last semester I'll ever take in my University, and all I really have to do now is wait for the Graduation Ceremony, which is about a week away.

For now, I'm technically on an unofficial "break" between school and getting a job, so I'll spend some time simply vibing until about a week after graduation (as I have plenty of family-related stuff to do haha) before I'll focus primarily on getting a job.

I was messing around with the old, early-2010 Roblox Studio (Thanks to #Novetus) and I was shocked by plenty of stuff, like how BasePart didn't have a "TouchEnded" event.

I knew there were going to be differences between old and new Roblox when it came to development, but I was not expecting that honestly.

The gravitational acceleration in Roblox is 196.2 studs per second squared. If this was the same as Earth's gravitational acceleration, then that implies that there are about 20 studs per meter (6.1 studs per foot).

Since an average Robloxian is about 5 studs tall, this implies that an average Robloxian is about 25 cm (9.8 inches) tall

Since #Novetus didn't include the infamous Valkyrie Helm, I decided to add it in myself. after installing the BTRoblox Extension, downloading the necessary parts, and some XML editing skills, I successfully added the hat to Novetus.

I decided to wear a rather infamous avatar costume that one might see in #Roblox ads back in the day which included the Valkyrie Helm.

I'll create a zip file containing everything you will need to wear it, plus some instructions, if anyone is interested.

I made an account on the #Mastodon #GameDev branch, which is where I will be posted Roblox/Game Development stuff to from now on.

I am rather surprised that there are multiple captures of my Roblox profile on Wayback Machine. Note that I rarely use Wayback Machine for stuff, let alone make captures of my Roblox profile.

Nothing wrong with, but I am wonder who would do this. 🤔
