Just sent chapter 24 (of 33) to my critique partner. That’s the last chapter of act 2. Is it a story yet? We will find out.

Two queries out to two excellent agents. Finished chapter sixteen of the new book and reviewed it with my critique partner. Edited some of my shelved MS and realized it could be a winner if I simplified it. Spent time talking marketing with some bookish colleagues. Started The Magic Mountain by Mann. Plugged away at Nona the Ninth. Started a "To Read Next" list.

@wordsmith I’ve made it to chapter 16 - lots of water under the bridge, Julie’s health scare was a lot scarier than any of us hoped so that kept me away a lot. But she’s recovering and I’m trying to get back to Ordinary Time in 2024. Do you recall the last chapter you heard?
