If you need help remembering to edit your images to add image descriptions, use @PleaseCaption to alert you if you forget to describe an image. Then, click on, more, among the toot actions. Click on, either, edit, or delete and repost. Delete and post is easier. Click on edit next to the image, and then type in your description to post again. #NewHere #NewUser #NewUsers #Mastodon #FediTips #Accessibility

@yasuke Oh! You can move from one account to the other without needing to send follow requests again. Just make sure to export your new following list and import it into your new instance. If you go through the built in moving process, your followers will automatically move over.

I've been able to get my hands on the #TruthSocial source code (they do have a link to it on their website, although their website is not accessible to me).

They have disabled federation features. I absolutely expected that, just confirming it for others. It is just another walled garden.

@ljwrites @balrogboogie @ljwrites Works great! The post count is 500 though, not 5000. The character limit, I mean. Is this intentional? I can also change some of the wiki stuff to Hometown, if I can edit it using my WriteOut account?
