Just found a stash of photos from Hagenfesten 2006. Roland Keijser, Mats Hellberg, Susan Alcorn, Joel Grip and lots of jazz, circus performance, and free improvisation. Remember it like it was yesterday.

I work on my mixes in the kitchen. Always have. I’m set up with studio monitors and a mixer right next to the refrigerator. Set up has basically been the same for 20 years.
Several months ago, my daughter rescued a cat that was abandoned on a traffic island. The cat’s name is Poppy.
The only room in our house Poppy likes is the kitchen. So, for weeks, she’s been looming from above the fridge, ever threatening to pounce on my mix.
