BREAKING: The Iowa Senate passed a child labor law before dawn today.

The bill lets 14-year-olds work 6-hour night shifts, 15-year-olds work on assembly lines, and 16- and 17-year-olds serve alcohol.

Today on the first day of Women’s History Month I learned that after no fault divorce was finally legalized in 1970, female suicide rates dropped 20%🤯

The "strong 1950s family unit" that the GOP is nostalgic about ignores record high female suicide, suffocating domestic violence, & zero female financial autonomy.

But maybe that's GOP's goal all along?🤔

This seems like incredibly lazy reporting. Yes, there was a flood of new signups, and not all of them became regular users. But look at the growth of actual usage and posts of the Fediverse, and it continues to go up.

I've seen a few articles with this framing lately, and it's just so lazily misleading.

Remember when Ajit Pai took over the FCC and gutted #netneutrality in a matter of months?
