nixCraft 🐧Microsoft Windows Recall is not mandatory (yet) but starts in the background by default. It can be turned off by typing the following commands with admin rights:
DISM /Online /Get-Featureinfo /Featurename:Recall
DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /Featurename:Recall
This is for your info. It is upto you whether to disable or keep it running. "Recall" refers to the controversial AI-powered feature for Copilot+ PCs. This feature takes periodic screenshots of your screen including everything you type
