I made this example with GPT-4o, having it render Aldo Leopold's "Axe in Hand" from "A Sand County Almanac" as a comic strip. The model used a newer autoregressive model vs the diffusion models largely used previously. I think the difference is notable. What do you think? When many people think of Large Language Models (LLM's), they think of chatbots like chatgpt. Many of these models can also take image inputs. Here is a simple example of a Jupyter notebook where GPT-4o-mini was prompted "What's in this image?" We are using models like this to catalog over 100 years of historic forest management photos in searchable and sortable databases.
