given their open source governance track record (hyper anyone?) it would be naive to assume they won't do this to other dependencies (yes including nextjs)

@isotope239 @DodoTheDev I found this cool infographic with all the subseries mapped out and stuff. Apparently, Sir Terry Pratchett recommends starting with book 5
@jimniels I hear your thought process, although we do have microformats. But HTML is just as difficult to parse as XML, if not more so.
The smallest JS-based XML parser I've found is `@rgrove/parse-xml` at 12kb minified, with `sax` coming in at 18.9kb. I haven't found any HTML parsers under 100kb. JS natively supports JSON.
So, yes, it's been suggested. Yes, it's a good idea. But we need other things to happen first.

You may have heard about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
- Humanitarian Aid?
- Genocide?
- Ceasefire?
Educate yourself.

@DavidDarnes @matthewp To play devil's advocate:
In the spirit of indieweb, fediverse, and all things awesome, I feel like a centralized directory is not the way to go. NPM is centralized, but it kinda *needs* to exist, in order to facilitate package management for Node.js. And they pay people to maintain it, so it's less likely to go defunct. You could make a blogroll-type site for your favorite web components. That would be fascinating.
Let’s Make the IndieWeb Easier
It needs to be easier to install and use your own website. But building the right onboarding experience may be more important than building the right tool.
