@rjfaas There have been malicious apps in the App Store. There will be malicious apps outside the App Store. Freedom isn't free. Users need to take some responsibility for their own security.
This market has existed for some time in the Android ecosystem. Users are free to get their apps from the Play store or elsewhere. We prefer elsewhere.
