This has been such a #tbi symptom week. Today is the first day I’ve truly felt stable and steady on my feet. Anytime I get anxious or emotionally overwhelmed, my left side gives out and losing your dad and trying to handle all of that when you’re an only child is completely overwhelming.
As much as I know I can yell “Siri where are.” I generally try not to.
Here’s one of the big challenges with having a #traumaticbraininjury - some days you’re perfectly fine and feel like your old/pre tbi self. And then you have a day where you’ve got vertigo, walking is unsteady (possibly leading to a fall you won’t be able to get up from), you have horrible brain fog and can barely make it to physical therapy.
Make a to-do list if you're feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes it helps to break things down into smaller pieces.

There's plenty of blame: Human error and a brittle infrastructure, but an AI that didn't so much ignore guardrails as bulldoze them has its share as well.

Fortunately, for PocketOS and its customers, Crane later reported that Railway had managed to "recover the data (thank God!).

Fuck you NY state retirement! I just collected my dad’s ashes and when I called to be sure there would be money for his internment, your phone system literally hung up on me without letting me talk to someone. That’s just fucked up and painful at this moment.

Why I will never work #NYS again.

The MacBook Neo — Built by Grumbles

Just picked up my dad’s ashes and copies of his death certificate. It feels kind of weird having him in a bag on the dining room floor until I can arrange a grave side service to inter him next to my mom.

Been an insanely stressful 24 hours trying to mfamily expectations and available budget as they pertain to my dad’s funeral.

It hasn’t been easy but somewhat ironically, I ended up opting for a funeral home directly across the street from the Bethlehem high school where worked (as an employee or contractor) thee different times. I was tempted to go and ask what help desk tickets were priorities.
