A v late #introduction!
I'm Ben (he/him), a 30s-ish musician/PhD student (by way of stints in the software engineering and vaguely music industries) in #Pittsburgh (by way of Delaware and then Nashville, TN). I'm white cis-het neurotypical and thus privileged, but I strive to be an ally to those who are not. If I can help you in that way, I'm here.

On the Lumen #EP, I'm using KiloHearts' limiter for mastering, and if you don't think that logo is just the best possible one for a company called #kilohearts, I just don't know what to tell you.
It's also a really intuitive limiter - I'm getting great natural boost without squishing, which is something I've struggled with in using the MClass compressor in #reason.
Anyone else using #kilohearts stuff in their #musicproduction?
Editing some tracks for the third and final song on Lumen's first #EP. I'm so proud of what we've done and am so excited to show it to you soon. Mega props to the other half of Lumen and my musical partner @jacalope who put in a BIG day today to help us get this ready to put under the proverbial tree by Friday.
