@geerlingguy It's the one in my lap right now, my corporate 16" M4 max in ~ space black ~ . Especially since i didn't have to pay for it! ANd it's nice to be back to a black laptop. I still miss my old snow leopard blackbook. The silver is just too much

throwing this out into the void: does anyone know of a way to do some very simple POTS -> IP telephony for two sites?

My parents have the landline number I grew up with, but very rarely use it, and live about a mile from me. What would I need to plug into the wall there, and then ... vpn to my home newtork ??? ... to ring phones in my house #asterix

I reinstalled threads on my phone today and immediately regretted it. Now that I have checked mastodon for the first time in a while, though, I now remember that I can just ... follow people from threads on here. And never see the ragebait algo there ever again! Great idea ben, now go implement
