The other issue is there are no experts locally in australian for transport planning this is one of the reasons why rail is such a mess and roads and tollways litter the cities.

@poostain It has been run into the ground deliberately by the road transport lobby via our useless politicians.
Why don't we have an Australian High Speed #train between #Melbourne and #Sydney and maybe connecting #Canberra? https://tinyurl.com/d6srnab4 The #japanese could easily build this for us and probably provide a turnkey funding package.
It is clear me to this government could not deliver a nation building project if their lives depended upon it.
The Airlines are being looked after by the government but Australian's need choice not higher airfares.
