Making things out of wood in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (aka #HamOnt).
Veneer #marquetry, boxes, #SpoonCarving, #sculpture, and custom items.
Always happy to answer woodworking questions if I can, although I'm more active on my anon fedi account, so it may take a while to respond here.

Gonna drop off these wood-veneer #marquetry #bugs at the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas tomorrow.
Ladybug, grasshopper, spider, and a bonus WIP bird.
I swear I'm quite active on fedi, just not so much on this account 😅
Just glued the edges onto the latest marquetry panels, still some sanding to do before finishing with tung oil. Fingers crossed everything goes well!
Totally forgot to take pictures at the show opening on Friday, but luckily my spouse snapped one of me next to my work.
Honored to be named the recipient of the inaugural Patricia Peacock-Evans Award for Fine Craft.
#HamOnt folks - submitted my latest marquetry birds to the Dundas Carnegie Gallery's 2024 artist member exhibition :)
Opening reception is this evening (Fri, July 5) from 7-9:30pm. I'll snap a couple pics of all the work on display and add them below.
Runs until August 25th. 10 King St West, Dundas, Ontario.

Was commissioned to make this veneer marquetry image of a Great Grey Owl recently.
Ended up being somewhat of a composite of several reference photos.
Long time no post! Here's a #WIP kingfisher
May as well post a bunch of older work! Here's two walnut sculptures from 2021
Dropped off some of my work at the Carnegie Gallery in my hometown of Dundas, Ontario, and spotted the *phenomenal* work of local ceramic artist Darlene Pratt. So cool, never seen anything like it before 👀
