so there i am, installing my dotfiles on a new fresh linux install, and my previous default for NVM Node 16 and gatsby requires 18. And due to my script installing CURL from snap instead of apt-get; the typical CURL command to install NVM won't have the correct permissions to write files, documented in issue https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm/issues/2504.
these little time wasting nuggets fire up my neurons when I solve them, and are small considerations built into dotfiles over time I cherish
