Today is Fork's birthday 🎂. It's been 10 years since the first commit. Time flies, but when we look back at our journey, it turns out it hasn't been a short one. Thank you for being with us, for your feature requests and bug reports! ❤️ Looking forward to the next 10 years!🤘
Flight attendants had to move my giant yoshi plush to an empty seat in the back because it was taking too much room in the ceiling compartment, look at what they did to him 😭😭
An unexpected thing happened: somehow I received a special award at the Pégases (french game industry awards), partly recognizing the continued work on Dear ImGui. Thank you🙏 https://academiejeuvideo.org

MELPA

The largest and most up-to-date repository of Emacs packages.

Although apparently I can’t spell ‘gamedev’ properly.

Moonring was originally a solo project by my brother Dene; it was nice to get to work with him again for the first time since Fable 2.

Nuclear option 3 worked. Yay!

It’s not entirely clear what the difference between ‘Reset PC by reinstalling Windows’ and ‘manually reinstalling Windows’ is, but whatever it is, it’s important.

It’s curious that Windows presented me with 4 consecutive options to fix things, and each one made things worse.

Nuking attempt 2 resulted in a black screen after booting.

Moving on to Nuke 3 - full reinstall from a USB stick.

Nuking attempt 1. Recovery menu, ‘Reinstall but keep local files’.

10 mins later.

“The operation failed. We were unable to reset your PC.”

Nuking attempt 2 is now underway. ‘Reinstall, delete everything’.

My breath is positively bated.

Crikey, when did Windows Update become so unreliable? My experience with a new PC:
- Setup. All working!
- Windows Updates. Several GBs later, all good!
- ‘One update failed - retry?’ Sure!
- ‘Your PC needs to reinstall some Windows components. This won’t affect your local files. Do it?’ Sure!
- PC no longer boots.
- Nuke and start over.
