We’ve been asked, countless times: “Are you folks working on a Mastodon app?”

The answer isn’t a simple one.

Masto-do or Masto-don’t? • The Breakroom

Let’s just say that January 12th was expected, yet still surprising. We knew the cutting and slashing at Twitter would affect us at some point, but how we’d get eviscerated was an unknown. Many other people saw it was coming as reality began to sink in at the end of October. We’ve been asked, countless […]

Iconfactory Blog

In the past years I have learned a lot about what to post and what not and how to write certain things and I'm still learning everyday!

But it all feels like something super postive, an addition, not something 'dark' that holds back but rather a more 'thoughtful' way, I guess they would call it woke on Twitter

Elon says he's not changed but society and everyone around him and that may be but why see it as something negative? It means we're growing and evolving. Standing still doesn't work

Now @mozilla is officially building upon the Fediverse. Their foray will be an instance hosted at mozilla.social.

But I hope they go further than this:

The mastodon app that nails aggregated feed and unified access to your accounts across instances is the one that will ultimately win the development race.
This new ‘Mammoth’ Mastodon 3rd party app is so bloody good looking. Insane amount of customisation options. Find it on TestFlight.

What a time to love indie apps. Third-party Mastodon clients are bringing back a sense of curiosity and excitement I hadn't felt since the heyday of Twitter clients in 2009-2011.

What am I missing? Are you working on one not on shown here? I'd love to know.

Time to work on a story 💪
